MS Vision offers flexible and cost-effective service, ensuring maximum performance and uptime of a wide range of mass spectrometry and LC systems. We provide support, consultancy services and pre-owned systems in the field of mass spectrometry for Waters, Sciex and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

The high quality of our service, the excellent skills of our engineers and the cost effectiveness of our offerings are reflected by the steady growth of our service organisation and customer base over the past years in Europe.

In addition to LC/MS service and support, MS Vision has a range of technology products (under development) dedicated to (native) protein analysis by mass spectrometry and novel separation techniques. This makes us one of the leading suppliers for high mass and native MS and provides significant growth opportunities in the biopharmaceutical industry.

We have a job opening for a senior service specialist with a strong background on Sciex mass spectrometry systems (m/f/d)

This role is either based in the head office in Almere (The Netherlands) or home based and you will be responsible for service and support of our European customers. You are a pro-active, experienced and customer oriented service engineer with a solid background in electronics or medical equipment and experience with Sciex LC/MS instruments.

Responsibilities

You

• will support our customers in academia, pharma and food analysis in the territory
• establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• train junior colleagues internally to broaden the knowledge on instrument hardware in the company
• expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• may participate in internal technology development projects for high mass, native and top-down mass spectrometry
• report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in service and repair of Sciex mass spectrometry systems. Experience on other manufacturers is an additional benefit
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Sound knowledge of MS Office
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Willingness to travel throughout Europe, driving licence is essential.
• MS Vision can support immigration to the Netherlands for work, we are open to applications from outside Europe
• English language knowledge is essential, it would be ideal if you would also speak Dutch, German or French.
